As you prepare for classes to begin, the KSU Writing Center suggests that the task of grading student writing might be a enhanced if you’ll urge your students to use its services.
Taking one or both of the following simple steps makes your students more likely to visit the KSU Writing Center; as a result, you’re more likely to read better student writing.
1) Schedule a brief Writing Center “Outreach” for each of your classes. Simply email your course name/number and desired date, time, and length of visit to writingcenter@kennesaw.edu.
2) Include the following information on all syllabi:
The KSU Writing Center is a free service offered to all KSU students. Experienced, friendly writing assistants work with you throughout the writing process on topic development, revision, research, documentation, grammar, and more.
